Stock Assessment of Indian Mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) Landed at Tanjung Beringin’s Auction Place Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara

Abstract Indian Mackerel ( Rastrelliger kanagurta ) is one of the main catch fishery at Tanjung Beringin’s Auction Place, Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara. The purpose this research to analyze stock status indian mackerel landed Beringin. This was conduted in July – September 2021. method used purposive sampling method. total sample fish were 272 individuals. showed mackerel’s sex ratio 1: 1.060. growth pattern negative allometric. Value estimation male and female’s L∞ 268.80 mm 295.05 mm. K bigger than female. But value Lc Lm smaller rate mortality 2.466/year, natural 0.684/year fishing (F) 1.782/year. exploitation 0,723 classified as high level (overfishing).
